Neuropsychological Services
What We Do
We provide neuropsychological and cognitive assessments for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with complex cognitive, developmental, neurological, and psychological concerns. Assessments are conducted using standardised, evidence-based measures and are tailored to the individual’s age, developmental stage, clinical history, and referral question.
Our assessments examine areas such as intellectual functioning, attention, memory, executive functioning, processing speed, learning, and adaptive or functional capacity. Where appropriate, findings are integrated with collateral information, developmental history, educational or occupational context, and previous assessment results.
Reports are written clearly and clinically, with a strong focus on functional impact, diagnostic clarity, and practical recommendations. Our assessments are commonly used to support clinical planning, educational or workplace adjustments, NDIS access or plan review processes, and complex decision-making or capacity considerations.
Who We Work With
We work with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing cognitive, developmental, or functional difficulties, including:
Children and adolescents with concerns related to learning, attention, executive functioning, memory, or developmental differences
Individuals with suspected or diagnosed neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD
Adults with cognitive changes following acquired brain injury, neurological illness, or medical conditions
Individuals with complex psychiatric or psychosocial presentations where cognitive functioning is unclear
Concerns regarding memory, attention, processing speed, or executive functioning across the lifespan
Assessment of functional capacity, adaptive skills, or decision-making ability
NDIS-related assessment, review, and reporting requirements
We do not offer medicolegal, forensic or educational assessments.
Alice Skocz is an AHPRA registered Clinical Neuropsychologist based in Adelaide and available face to face and via telehealth. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on how brain function influences thinking, behaviour, learning, and emotional wellbeing.
Alice works with individuals who may not yet have the words to articulate what’s going wrong but know that something isn’t quite right. Many of her clients feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck, struggling with cognitive changes, learning difficulties, emotional dysregulation, or life paths shaped by disability, trauma, or health events. Whether it’s a teenager who’s always felt “different,” an adult adjusting after brain injury, or a parent trying to understand their child’s complex needs, Alice helps bring clarity, validation, and direction.
